WHAT SIZE WILL MY FISH OR CORAL BE?
It's difficult to say what is large and what is not, but here are some guidelines keeping in mind that the size description is in direct proportion to the kind of fish or coral you are ordering. What this means is that some fish, such as the panda goby, ranges from about 1/2" to 1". Clown fish range from 1" to 5". Tangs range from 1" to 24". Since we order on demand, we cant really just whip out a ruler and measure each specimen we post. We list our fish and corals in (SM/MED/LGE/XL) If you keep in mind the general minimum and maximums for each species that you are ordering, you will have a very good idea of what size you will be getting when your fish arrives. We have never received a fish that was smaller than we expected it to be, and often we received fish that were much larger than I expected them to be. A few weeks ago, I ordered 2 (MED) Naso Tangs. The Tangs I received were 6" & 7" respectively. I think we got a great deal because clearly those are in the large category.
As far as corals go, we do not deal in FRAGS. While at some point we will be venturing into this area, we prefer to order whole corals for our customers. Would you rather pay $40 for a few polyps of a certain coral, or would you rather pay $40 for an entire colony of a certain coral? When you order a coral colony, you should expect a fairly decent sized colony.
SIZE EXAMPLES
Juv: Juveniles are just that baby fish. If we list something as a juvenile, expect a small version of the fish.
Small: Small fish are on the lower end of the fish size scale for your particular fish. For clowns, that would be about 1". For Tangs, that would be between 1" - 3".
Medium: Medium fish are in the middle range. For clowns that would be between 2" - 3". For tangs, that would be between 3" - 5".
Large: Large are at the larger end of the range, (keeping in mind that the larger specimens are absolutes based on observations in the wild.) For clowns this would be 3" - 5" and for Tangs, it would be between 4" - 8".
XL: Xtra large versions of the fish typically seen on domestic tanks.

WHEN DO I GET MY ORDER?
• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
We usually order once per week although sometimes we skip a week if we do not have enough orders to make the minimum order and shipping worth it. Just because we usually do not charge you shipping doesn't mean that we still don't have to pay it. :-) - The terms and conditions you agreed to when you created your account give us the option of delaying an order for those reasons, or because our vendor just may have run out of the item you ordered. If we cant get your order, by the second week, we are happy to refund your money or change your order to something they do have. We also may skip placing an order if weather conditions, terrorism, or other conditions beyond our control prohibit it. Be assured that we will do or best to get your order here as quickly as possible.
Once your order is placed with our suppliers, we will send you an email informing you when your order will be available for pickup, usually the next day after your order arrives, and we will send you additional pickup information, address, times, etc. You will be required to pick up your order as soon as possible. We are not staffed to hold livestock for more than a day or two. If you do not plan on picking up your order within a day or two, please wait to place your order until you can pick it up. We do recommend that you isolate your new livestock, to ensure that you don't pick up any unwanted hitchhikers.
